Conducted across eight Australian primary schools, this study measured student maths performance before and after using Matific in the classroom and at home. Students showed an average 34% improvement in test scores, with teachers reporting higher engagement in problem-solving and a deeper understanding of maths concepts. The research concluded that Matific supports conceptual understanding and boosts student outcomes in a short time frame.

Three Months of Extra Learning in One School Year
In een grootschalig onderzoek van SEG Measurement werden bijna 1.500 leerlingen van basisscholen gevolgd gedurende een heel schooljaar. De resultaten waren duidelijk: leerlingen die Matific gebruikten, presteerden consistent beter dan leerlingen die dat niet deden. Leerlingen gingen sneller vooruit, hadden sterkere vaardigheden en meer zelfvertrouwen in wiskunde.

Large Effect Sizes (0.33–0.76 SD) in Maths Achievement
In de nationale pilot High Touch High Tech (HTHT) in Uruguay, toonde een onafhankelijk onderzoek onder meer dan 2700 leerlingen van groep 5 aan dat leerlingen die gebruik maken van Matific veel grotere vorderingen in wiskunde boekten dan leerlingen die Matific niet gebruikten. Gemiddeld leerden kinderen die Matific gebruikten aanzienlijk meer dan hun leeftijdsgenoten. In één schooljaar boekten ze een vooruitgang die gelijk staat aan een paar maanden extra wiskunde. Leerlingen die Matific het meest regelmatig gebruikten, boekten de grootste vooruitgang: meer dan twee keer zoveel als leerlingen in traditionele klaslokalen.
Naast hogere testscores ontwikkelden leerlingen meer doorzettingsvermogen, zelfvertrouwen en vaardigheden om zelfstandig te leren. Leraren gaven aan dat Matific de leerlingen zeer betrokken hield en een positievere houding aannamen ten opzichte van wiskunde, wat de basis legde voor blijvend succes.

Early Learners Show Significant Gains in Only Four Weeks
Onderzoek kleuters VAE (2024)
Uit een onderzoek onder kleuters in de regio Al Dhafra in de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten bleek dat alle leerlingen een significante verbetering lieten zien in basisvaardigheden van wiskunde (tellen, eenvoudige optellen en aftrekken, vormen, patronen, meten en probleemoplossing) na slechts vier weken Matific te hebben gebruikt. Jongens en meisjes hadden er evenveel baat bij: er werd geen prestatieverschil aangetoond per geslacht. De winst was statistisch significant en toonde een duidelijke effectiviteit, zelfs bij zeer vroege leerlingen.

Maths Failure Rates Cut by 87% in One Year
Uit een evaluatie door professor Lázaro Sagrado van de Escola Municipal (Colorado, Brazilië) bleek dat de nadat Matific in de wekelijkse wiskundelessen werd geïntroduceerd, het aantal leerlingen dat zakte sterk daalde. Vóór het gebruik van Matific zakte 31,8% van de leerlingen van groep 2 tot en met 5 voor wiskunde of had een speciale goedkeuring nodig om te slagen. Na een jaar Matific te hebben gebruikt, daalde dat cijfer tot slechts 4%: een vermindering van 87% aan leerlingen die de norm niet halen.
Vergeleken met andere lokale scholen die Matific niet gebruikten, was de verbetering opvallend. Op veel scholen was er weinig verandering te zien of zakten er zelfs meer leerlingen. Bij scholen die Matific gebruikten verbeterden de schoolresultaten in alle leerjaren.
